'What's the most Jalop new car on sale today?'
77 and counting replies later, one comment that's grayed out with no recommends. Brown wagons and FWD commuter cars aplenty, and SUVs even, but no NSX? No McLaren F1? No P1? Not even the uglyful 458 italia? The only Porsche on the list is a rebuilt by a not-at-all-owned-or-affiliated-with-VAG restomod company. The actually new ones didn't make the cut at all.
So...do you guys think supercars are not jalop worthy?
Edit: The F1 and NSX aren't new, but I'm leaving them in there anyway.

I like the Aventador and the Ferrari F12 and the Porsche 918 is quite fantastic.

Are they 'jalop'? Not really. That doesn't mean they aren't liked.
The FF is probably the most 'jalop' supercar on sale today, because shooting brake.

I'd say to be properly Jalop, a supercar needs to be zany in some respect unrelated to being a supercar. Like, having a diesel option and a Levis edition. Quite a few supercars qualify for "zany", obviously. Or, the supercar needs to have at least one aspect of astounding, baffling lameness. A large part of the Buddha Nature, I mean Jalop Nature of a car is to have some facet of profound lameness, at least to some, that transcends and becomes awesome. Wagons: case. in. point. It's not necessarily hipsterism, but quirks unrelated to performance as such are a must.

haha I should have said for the original asking price too. I remember that one last year for 5.5M. I could probably reach out and find 1M to flip and sell it for 5.5M or more though!
